Russell J. Crane, DMD
Dr. Crane was raised in the rural countryside of Southern Idaho where he learned to work diligently on a dairy farm alongside his father and four brothers. It was through the local Boy Scouts, specifically his master scout who was a dentist, that he developed an interest in dentistry.
Dr. Crane completed his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science in 2015 at Brigham Young University before going on to receive his doctorate in 2019 from Midwestern University, Arizona. He attends more than 60 hours of continuing education courses each year that cover new innovations in dentistry and topics such as restorative and cosmetic dentistry, prosthodontics, periodontal treatments, endodontics, oral surgery and digital dentistry. He does so with the hope that the knowledge he gains will benefit his patients and transform their dental health. Dr. Crane has also received his Invisalign® aligner certification, laser certification, CDOCs CEREC certification, advanced training in SPEAR Facially Generated Smile Design and has taken practical clinical courses with Dr. Gordon Christensen. He is a proud member of the American Dental Association, the Arizona Dental Association, Central Arizona Dental Society, the Academy of Laser Dentistry and SPEAR Education.
Dr. Crane has practiced in Glendale, Arizona, for almost five years. As a health professional, his goal is to provide the most comprehensive, necessary and ethical dental care that maximizes the health and beauty of every patient’s smile. He is also fluent in Spanish, allowing him to communicate with patients with potential language barriers, ensuring that you always feel heard.
Dr. Crane and his wife have five wonderful children. He spends his free time playing games with them, swimming, attending sporting events and working together in the yard or garage. He also enjoys playing the guitar, cooking new recipes on the smoker, trying new restaurants with his wife and serving within his church. He is also involved in other community services, including Veteran Dental Service Day, DOCare Guatemala Dental Outreach, Smile Generation Serve Day, Marfan Syndrome Symposium and the Boy Scouts of America.
